With the go-ahead from Vermont’s National Resource Board, Magic Mountain is now moving ahead with multiple facilities projects, adding to the significant progress they’ve made over the last year in bringing the southern Vermont resort back to life.

Well over $100,000 in repairs and maintenance went into bringing the Black Lift at Vermont’s Magic Mountain back to life. The Black Lift began loading skiers and riders for the first time in three years last weekend, after being certified to operate as a double lift by the State of Vermont Passenger Tramway Board.

SKI MAGIC LLC announced Tuesday it had concluded a signed purchase and sale agreement with current title holder Magic Mountain Management, LLC to purchase all the property and assets of the 709-acre Magic Mountain Ski Area in Londonderry, Vermont for an undisclosed amount.
