Bristol Mountain and U.S. Ski & Snowboard are excited to announce that the Toyota 2022 U.S. Aerials Freestyle Championships have been rescheduled to Sunday, March 13, 2022. Four Olympic Medalists are planning to compete in the event including three Olympic Gold Medalists Chris Lillis (former Bristol Mountain Freestyle Team Member), Ashley Caldwell, and Justin Schoenefeld and Olympic Bronze Medalist Megan Nick. The event was rescheduled to accommodate athlete schedules. 

A British skier crashes through wooden fencing on a downhill corner and slams into a pole, breaking his leg. An American hits an icy patch at the bottom of a hill and crashes into a fence, breaking one ski and twisting the other, also breaking his leg.

Shaun White arrived at Mammoth Mountain hoping to lock in a spot on his fifth Olympic team. The snowboarding superstar left it with his ankle hurting and work still left to do.

The men’s World Cup calendar has not yet been fully confirmed. FIS will confirm in September. Beaver Creek race times to be determined.

Jessie Diggins is the fastest woman in the world. At least on cross-country skis.

Waterville Valley Resort in Waterville Valley, New Hampshire, and Saddleback Mountain in Rangeley, Maine will join the Indy Pass through the end of the current 2020-21 season and for the 2021-22 season. Both resorts will provide two days of skiing and riding to all Indy Pass holders during both seasons and there are no blackout dates for the remainder of the current season. Waterville Valley visits will be no charge; and for the current season, Saddleback will be $10 per visit.

Jessie Diggins and Rosie Brennan powered to the top of the overall FIS Tour de Ski standings, finishing a historic 1-2 in Sunday’s 10k freestyle pursuit in Val Müstair, Switzerland. 

On a stunning day in Courchevel, France, Mikaela Shiffrin made her triumphant and emotional return to the top step on the podium in a FIS World Cup. Young gun AJ Hurt took home her first World Cup giant slalom points, and top-20, in 18th place.

U.S. Ski & Snowboard athletes return to FIS World Cup competition this month, and the networks of NBC will broadcast more than 75 hours of live and same-day coverage in November and December on NBC, NBC Sports Network, and The Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA, from Levi and Ruka, Finland, Lillehammer, Norway, and Copper Mountain Colorado. Coverage begins with the FIS Alpine Skiing World Cup women’s slalom from Levi on Saturday, Nov. 21.

Vail's Lindsey Vonn wrapped up her illustrious 18-year career as the most successful female ski racer in history Sunday with a bronze medal in the downhill at the FIS Alpine World Ski Championship in Are, Sweden.

The time has come, the superpipe is taking shape, and Copper Mountain is welcoming freeski and snowboard halfpipe superstars from across the globe to compete at the 2018 Toyota U.S. Grand Prix. This year the event holds special significance as it marks over a decade of partnership between Copper Mountain and U.S. Ski & Snowboard. Not to mention, early Colorado snow will make for excellent training and competition conditions.

With 100 days to go, the countdown begins in earnest for the 2019 FIS Snowboard, Freestyle and Freeski World Championships presented by Toyota, taking place at Utah's Deer Valley Resort, Park City Mountain, and Solitude Mountain Resort February 1-10.

The Audi FIS Ski World Cup returns to Vermont’s Killington Resort Thanksgiving weekend, and tickets go on sale Wednesday, September 5 at 9 a.m. EDT.

The nation’s best alpine ski racers will descend upon New Hampshire’s Waterville Valley Resort in 2019 and 2021 for U.S. Alpine Championship - the biggest race the resort has hosted since the White Circus visited in 1991 when Julie Parisien won the World Cup giant slalom.

Jessie Diggins (Afton, Minn.) was selected to lead the 2018 U.S. Olympic Team into Sunday's Closing Ceremony as flag bearer, as announced today by the United States Olympic Committee. Diggins was chosen by a vote of fellow members of Team USA.
