Donny Pelletier joined Sunday River for closing day, April 28. Played by Olympic mogul skier, Troy Murphy, Donny is a hammed up version of your classic Mainer (who lays tarmac on Route 2) and his charm is that he’s a terrible skier who thinks he’s absolutely sending it. (Sunday River)

You just might run into Sugarbush legend John Egan on the last days of the season, May 4 and 5, when you can also start your golf season. (Sugarbush/ Facebook)

With more than 35 FEET of snow this season, Jay Peak will re-open Stateside May 4 and 5 for one last weekend of skiing and riding. (Jay Peak/Facebook)

A little cold and snow couldn’t stop this racer from taking on the Killington Triathlon. Killington will operate weekends only after May 5, where the Superstar glacier could take east coast skiers into June.
