Blacktail Mountain Joins Powder Alliance
Montana's Blacktail Mountain is joining the Powder Alliance reciprocal lift pass program for next winter's 2022/23 season, which allows for three free days of skiing and riding at 17 winter destinations spanning three countries on two different continents.
“We want to deliver as much value as possible for our guests, especially season passholders,” said Jessi Wood, Blacktail GM in a press release. “That desire doesn't stop at our ski boundary. We couldn't be more excited to join the Powder Allance and offer our passholders up to 45 free days of skiing at some of the best ski resorts across the continent.”
Blacktail passholders will receive three days of free skiing and riding, Sunday through Friday, at any Powder Alliance destination. In addition they are able to ski or ride for free, Monday through Friday, at Blacktail's sister resort Mission Ridge in Wenatchee, Washington.
Located in Lakeside, Montana, just off Highway 93Blacktail overlooks Flathead Lake and the scenic Flathead Valley. You have panoramic views of Glacier National Park in the distance. It's a unique upside-down ski area with the lodge and trails starting at the top of the mountain. The ski area offers over 1,000 acres, over 1,400 vertical feet, four lifts and 28 trails. The north facing slopes keep snow light, dry and powdery.
The 2022/23 season pass sale is underway. The current price is $415 for adults 18-69. They offer only so many passes at that price and once they are gone, they offer so many passes at the next price level and so on. It's best to purchase early, because they don't say how many passes are allotted at each price level.
